The Whitehorse Lake Trail is a great place for a family day hike and picnic. The trail surrounds Whitehorse Lake and also ventures a short distance into the Kaibab National Forest. There is a short interpretive trail at the beginning of the hike describing the trees and plant life, leaflets are available at the trailhead and correspond with the numbered markings along the trail.
