The Badger Springs Trail is an easy hike to the Agua Fria River. The area is of archeological interest due to the petroglyphs that are located here. Look closely at the large boulders, they were once used as a metate for grinding grain. Some of the boulders have eroded over the years but the grooves are still clearly visible.
