The Horsecollar Ruin Overlook Trail is an easy trail that leads to an overlook along the mesa of White Canyon. The overlook does have a guide rail, if travelling as a family be vigilant with children as there is a very steep drop. From the overlook, several dwellings are visible, a kiva is also visible, this ruin still has a partial roof which is very rare to see. This is an excellent viewpoint to take photographs of the geology of the monument as well as being able to see some of the best preserved Ancient Puebloan dwellings in the southwest.
