Trails National Monuments Pipe Spring Ridge Trail

The Ridge Trail provides a look into the lives of a Mormon settlement in 1860. Mormon ranchers settled next to the constant running spring water which was also used by the Paiute Indians for generations. The settlement caused disputes between the Mormons and the local Paiutes, to protect the spring, the Mormons built Winsor Castle. Winsor Castle is now used as a museum and filled with artifacts from the pioneer period.
