The Tavasci Marsh Trail is a short, easy, wheelchair accessible trail that leads from the visitor center at the Tuzigoot National Monument. Along the short trail are several educational interpretive signs depicting the history of the area as well as the land and its uses. The monument protects the ancient Sinagua pueblo that dates from 1125 AD to 1400 AD. The marsh trail leads to a viewing platform where you can relax and listen to the birds, over 245 species of birds have been documented at the monument and the Tavasci Marsh.
