The White Domes Trail is a one mile hiking trail located at the end of the White Domes Scenic Byway in Nevada's Valley of Fire State Park. The trail appears to pass through an ancient ruin but it is actually the remains of a movie set built in 1965 for the movie "The Professionals". At the trailhead and parking lot, film makers also built a Mexican hacienda for the movie. There are still some railroad ties sticking out of the rocks. Commercial photography in the park began in the 1920s and continues today, with over 45 commercial shoots every year. Other popular movies filmed in the park include "The Electric Horseman" and "Star Trek Generations".
The White Domes Trail has a maximum elevation of 2,025 ft., a minimum elevation of 1,891 ft. and an elevation range of 134 ft.
